Pictures

I never seem to be able to remember to upload pictures when I post, so here are some recent pictures.
This one is for Heather, this is my yesterday. 19.5 weeks pregnant. Already a huge belly!

And then here's Ryan and I at the Cheesecake Factory in Tulsa, OK for my birthday. 12-20-07.

And here is Campbell Dog. She's getting lots bigger!

I'll be trying to take photos of my belly every week (so you can watch me grow! :)

Hospital Visit

Before you get too worried, everything is ok.
But Sunday night I had a few contractions, not a big deal. Then last night I woke up to a couple more. Then, this morning, Campbell jumped right on my stomach. It was very painful and within an hour, I started having more contractions. I waited for a call from my doctor but after an hour, I decided we should go to the hospital. (Eventually, the Dr. called back and said Go to the hospital, luckily we were already there.) They monitored me and did an ultrasound to check for bruising or detachment, but all was well.
I did get to see her again on the ultrasound. They said it was definitely a girl. She was doing flips and moving all over the place. At one point, she even looked like she was smiling.
Ryan was a trooper and hung around the hospital with me for 3 or 4 hours, but it seemed much longer than that.
We have a Dr. Appt in two weeks, and they will hopefully tell us how the last ultrasound went and what they saw. The E.R Dr. today said that I look like I'm 19 weeks and 4 days, which is a week farther than my regular OB had told us. So we may have a due date change after the next appt.
I hope you all have a wonderful week. Keep name suggestions coming.

XOXO,
Holly

The results are in!

It's a little girl! I'll post pictures when I can. They gave us the ultrasounds on x-ray film, so I think I'm going to have to get them scanned like a slide. If you have any name suggestions leave them in a comment!

Quick Update

My Dr.'s office just called and said that the lab in their building no longer has an ultrasound technician, so they had to cancel my appt. on the 17th. BUT, they are sending me across the street for an appt. on the 15th! So look for updates on Tuesday, and pray that baby humbert will show its shining colors!

New Year

Wow, it's been a long time since my last post. Sorry about that all who read this.

Well for My birthday and Christmas, Ryan and I went to Oklahoma to see my family. It was so nice to be able to relax for 10 days and not worry about cooking or cleaning or our dog. (We left her with my w0nderful in-laws)

For my birthday, we went out to the Cheescake Factory. I'm sure we all ate way too much, but as always, it was great food.

To my surprise, My old Co-workers, and dear friends, threw my a surprise baby shower. I was genuinly surprised, (which is hard to do, I have a tendancy to snoop) My Mom and sisters were all in on it, and waiting at my friend Shala's. I'm sure they got a lot of pictures of me laughing, I was so surprised. I got my first baby things from the shower and they are waiting in the to-be nursery.

Ryan and my brother in law Aaron helped my Dad saw down several tree limbs from the ice storms they had. They did my parents backyard and that of another member in the ward. my sisters and I spent a lot of our time shopping and watching movies. Overall it was a nice relaxing vacation.

Onto baby talk, I had another Dr. appt yesterday. We got to hear the heart beat again. Everything is going well, although I am getting bigger and gaining weight. On Friday night, at our friend's Mark and Annalee's wedding, we felt the baby move for the first time. I had felt other movement but this was significant. Ryan and I had a good time feeling my tummy. We find out next thursday what the sex is, so watch for a post next week about that, and more name suggestions. I'll try to include more pictures from our vacation in the next post, so you can see my tummy and all.
