Today we made sugar cookies, and they were as delicious as I remember.
We had a lovely time at church today. Zoe is officially in nursery now, so Ryan and I got to enjoy our meetings without her interruption.
Ryan made hamburgers for dinner and the missionaries joined us. Zoe warmed right up to the Elders and was enjoying showing them all her books and stuffed animals.
Here's the recipe for the sugar cookies.
Mom's Awesomely Easy & Delicious Sugar CookiesWe had a lovely time at church today. Zoe is officially in nursery now, so Ryan and I got to enjoy our meetings without her interruption.

Here's the recipe for the sugar cookies.
3 Cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 Cup butter
2 eggs
1 Cup sugar
Sift dry ingredients except sugar. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Add sugar to eggs and beat well. Blend egg mixture into flour mixture. Chill well (8+ hours) Roll to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet (airbake) 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees until edges are barely golden. Cool, frost, and enjoy!
I've been wanting to get back to scrapbooking, but lately I've felt uninspired. I'm hoping the pictures I ordered will be here soon and those will inspire me.
XOXO,
Holly & Co.
